ABOUT ARTIST
Dariarté founder Dasha is a self-taught artist. After a successful 15-year career in corporate business, she followed her dreams and embraced her passion for art. She took an art course at Central Saint Martins and recently earned an MA in Art Business. Dasha works in London and produces a limited number of works, painting only that which truly inspires her.
Using a palette knife to generously apply paint to canvas, there is a sculptural quality to the artist’s work that invites the viewer to fall into the depth of colour Dasha achieves.
ABOUT ARTWORK
Flowers demonstrate the artist’s technique of treating the paint as a sculptural form, creating a strong, textured work. Dasha works with the paint whilst wet to draw in additional colours, distilling ambient light and giving this particular piece an interesting contrast between boldness and romance.
